The research paid off, she just loves it. The necklace itself is excellent quality, and although thick still is very supple. I was worried her pendants might not fit on it, but they do. The clasp is the lobster claw design and is more than adequate, but I would have liked to seen a larger one. The box as other people pointed out is made out of wood and is very nice, but it really didn't factor into my decision. My wife likes the fact of how clever the reversible design is and says that it will be good for traveling since one necklace can serve as both white/yellow gold.
